Britney's Mental Breakdown

Although I'm not a Britney Spears fan but hearing her being tied into a gurney and sent to a psychiatric ward is just sad. She refused to give her two sons back to her ex-husband and locked herself in a room kind of taking her kids hostage until the police came and settled things down.

I even read that she bruised one of her kid because she wanted to bring him to the bathroom but the kid got so scared and she just dragged him in.

This is her second breakdown. The first one was on February 2007 where she shaved her head. All this must have all been because her children was taken away from her. I guess no matter how she's under how many substances or how many alcoholic beverages she's under, deep down she really loves her children but what I don't get is why she won't sober up and be a responsible parent if she really loves them.

Although she managed to get out of the psych ward just after 72 hours she's still under suicidal watch and the paparazzi's are like crazy outside her house until the cops have to be there and the neighbors aren't happy about it. If things got worse she could even get evicted out of her own house!

I wonder if all this is because she has too much money in her hands or she just has a terrible love life and made some pretty bad decisions along the road. I hope she'll learn to respect herself more and that wouldn't make her sons think that they have an uncaring mother.
